Electrical through-flow water heater with several separate adjustable heating stages

The through flow water heater 2 has a duct in which there are series of in line sections K1,K2,K3in which there are electrical heating coils 4,5,6. Each coil is coupled into a control loop consisting of a regulator R, control element TV and a drive stage St . The input to each loop is the temperature error as determined by comparison of a reference T1soll with a value T12 from a sensor. The loops receive different reference values that successively increase by amounts set by a processor SWR.
