Slurry cutoff trenching as two-phase lift and binder-infilling operation

The supporting and lifting suspensions in the first phase flow in separate circuits using two size consists and mixer in the lifting circuit so that in the second phase the supporting fluid displaced by a binder and ground mixture is fed to first phase separating circuit and to the mixer circuit of the second phase. In this part of the supporting fluid as also the separated fractions of the ground-lifting suspension are mixed with cement etc binder and make-up water and after the recyclable supporting fluid has been run off are fed to the slurry trench in the form of a high statically loadable building material. Equipment comprises the trench milling tool (6) and a separating unit (8) to form fine and coarse ground lift material and associated separating circuits (6,7,8,11,12). The binder and ground mix is prepared in a mixing unit (30) complete with forcible mixer connected via circuit (57,21) to the second phase trench (4). Mixer (30) has coarse fraction feed (43) and fee ds (26,36) for the binder and supporting suspension (5) and/or make-up water (51). The binder mix is introduced into the trench (4) via devices (47). The metering device (45) also forms part of the mixer (30).
