FIELD: medicine, dentistry, dental prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: dental castable material attached to revolving cassette is exposed to effect of plasma jet generated by electric-arc plasma generator under atmospheric pressure with power of at least 50 kW. Material is passed under jet at travelling rate of > 2 m/s. Temperature on material surface does not exceed room temperature. Proposed method is multipurpose one, since it permits to carry out high-quality sterilization and disinfection of various dental castable materials in short time. EFFECT: rapid and high-quality sterilization and disinfection of dental castable materials by plasma jet without deteriorating all properties of materials; high process output. |
