Method for making a multilayered panel made of a base and a skin comprising different kinds of pieces

Process for the mfr. of a multilayered panel consist of an insert and a skin and having deformations in form of bumps and hollows in a pre-determined profile comprises preforming the deformations in at least one of the parts, following the pre-determined profile. The preformed parts are placed in the mould at at least the zone level corresponding to the deformation zone. The remaining skin parts are placed in the mould. The deformable insert is placed onto and compressed against the skin the obtain multi-layer panel with perfectly united edges along length of skin. Pref. the preformed parts are prepd. by thermoforming using moulding under vacuum. The insert is compressed against the skin by thermocompression. The predetermined zones consist of one of the mould parts having negative-form of the profile and the other part having opposing positive profile. Pref. the preformed parts are kept against the negative profile mould part, most pref. neighbouring skin parts are kept one on the other on the negative mould part. The adjacent mould part edges are positioned to form grooves in the insert which forms the join between adjacent edges. Pref. the adjacent sicks overlap. The insert is heated for forming.
