<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a junction part without a clearance through the mutual butting of the faces to be fused of a thermoplastic resin pipe material by bringing the heating face of a heating device into close contact with the face to be junctioned of the pipe material, under such a state that the face to be heated is stretched. SOLUTION: Means 34, 35 for heating a pipe thermally fuse the resin of the outer peripheral face of a fitting aperture (connecting part) on one of the ends of thermoplastic resin pipes 4, 5 whose faces to be heated, formed on the surface of the pipe, are held by clamps 1, 2, by blowing a hot air into the pipes 4, 5 to stretch them, and coming into contact with the outer peripheral face of the fitting aperture. Next, after moving a heating device 3 out of an area between a fixed clamp 1 and a movable clamp 1, a receiving aperture (connecting part) on one of the ends of the thermoplastic resin 5 is insetted, under pressure, to the fitting aperture of the ends of the resin pipe 4 by shifting the movable clamp 2 to the fixed clamp 1. Finally, the interface between the fused parts of the resin pipe 4 and the thermoplastic resin 5 is integrally closed.</p> |
