INFORMATION NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of the information corresponding to the present location of a portable terminal. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a communication host device 16 having a data base 52 storing a pair of the information related to each of plural locations and a host computer 50 and a portable terminal 12 having a data processing means 24 executing a prescribed data processing based on the data imparted to a communication control means 26 via communication networks 40 and 42 and a display means 22 displaying the image obtained based on the data processing. The portable terminal 12 has a present location detection means 28 detecting its own present location, transmits positional information data showing the present location to the communication host device 16. The host computer 50 reads a pair of the information related to the location corresponding to imparted positional information data from the data base 52 and this information is imparted to the portable terminal 12.
