PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a mounting form and to reduce an element size by providing an optical delay waveguide on the position arriving at a substrate side surface and a reflection mirror discretly controlling a delay time. SOLUTION: The optical delay waveguide 15 being a 1×N optical switch (N=2M) consisting of an input/output port 13 and an M stages Y branches optical switch 14, and defining gaps between respective channels (a) and a waveguide gap of a delay circuit of a radius of curvature R(b) is arranged on a monolithically integrated substrate 11. The reflection mirrors 16 are formed on the substrate side surface 12, and incident light is reflected by them. Further, an input port 22, an output port 23 having a circulator 21 as an external circuit are connected with the input/output port 13 through a Y branch circuit. The incident light from the input/output port 13 is led selectively to any one waveguide among N channels by the electrically controlled M stages Y branches optical switch 14. |
