PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to manufacture<13> N labelling chemicals of various types which can be highly radioactivated by subjecting a<13> NH3 aqueous solution to the cation ion exchange treatment and desiccation to produce anhydrous<13> NH3 . SOLUTION: Anhydrous<13> NH3 is produced by carrying out the concentration and desiccation of a<13> NH3 aqueous solution by using a cation ion exchange resin and eluting alkali. In this case, the cation ion exchange resin of a very small amount, less than about 30mg, is used, preferably in an inactive atmosphere such as He. Notably, it is better to use an alkaline solution of a very small amount, less than about 30μl, in the elution from the cation ion exchange resin. CaO and the like are used in the desiccation, and they are heated, if necessary. This results in holding down the flow of nonradioactive nitrogen ion nuclide into the anhydrous<13> NH3 . Subsequently, the anhydrous<13> NH3 is dissolved in an organic solvent such as any kind of hydrocarbon and is used for the reaction with a reacting substrate as it is.<13> NH3 labelling chemicals of types dealing with high-level radioactivity can be generated by giving a refining treatment after the reaction ends. |
