PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide binary data in which the shapes of plural objects are exactly reflected. SOLUTION: A threshold level calculating means 15 classifies gradation image data stored in a video RAM 11 into the partial 1st-(n)th (n>=22) partial gradation image data corresponding to the areas including the respective read of an IC chip 2 and including no adjacent read and calculates the 1st - (n)th threshold levels corresponding to the respective 1st - (n)th partial gradation image data based on the maximum and minimum values of gradation luminance of picture elements respectively in the 1st - (n)th gradation image data. A binarizing means 16 binarizes the 1st - (n)th partial gradation image data respectively based on these 1st - (n)th threshold levels and outputs the 1st - (n)th binary data to a work RAM 17. |
