PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect that in which place leakage is caused by controlling opening-closing of two opening-closing valves arranged in a gas supply pipe in the prescribed procedure when the existence of leakage is detected by arranging a pressure detecting element in the gas supply pipe to connect a sterilizing gas storing cylinder and a sterilizing vessel to each other. SOLUTION: When sterilizing treatment is performed on various articles such as an operation tool, first of all, first operation to open a main gas solenoid valve 6 being a first opening-closing valve is performed. Next, in the case of closing the valve opened to send sterilizing gas into a sterilizing vessel 1 at sterilizing process time, second operation to close a supply gas solenoid valve 8 being a second opening-closing valve later than the main gas solenoid valve 6 is performed. Leakage of a joint part between a pressure detecting element 7 and a gas supply pipe 3 and the supply gas solenoid valve 8 is judged from a detecting value of the pressure detecting element 7 until a sterilizing process is started. Third operation to open the supply gas solenoid valve 8 only for a specific time at cleaning process time thereafter is also performed, and leakage of the main gas solenoid valve 6 is judged from a detecting value of the pressure detecting element 7 at that time. |
