PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reception device which does not misrecognize the same pattern with a synchronizing word (SW) as the SW even when the same pattern as the SW is present in information data in a frame period. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a plurality of SW detecting means 12-1 to 12-N which detects the pattern of the SW of a predetermined slot and an SW pulse selecting means 13 which selects the detection signal of the SW of a slot to be received out of detection signals outputted by those SW detecting means. Then the data reception device which performs frame synchronism based on the signal selected by the SW pulse selecting means 13 and generates a timing signal for obtaining information from the slot that should be received confirms the adequacy of the detection signals outputted by the SW detecting means 12-1 to 12-N determined so that the SW pulse selecting means 13 detects the SW of the slot to be received according to the output intervals of the detection signals outputted by the SW detecting means 12-1 to 12-N. Even when the same pattern with the SW is present in the information data in the frame period, none of other SW detecting means outputs a detection signal, so the adequacy of the detection signal is negated, so that misrecognition can be avoided. |
