<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately predict the possibility of the occurrence of abnormality or a fault of equipment. SOLUTION: A characteristic value evaluating means 11 inputs a data signal from a sensor 0, stores characteristic value data in a history file 12, and outputs a decision signal showing whether or not the characteristic value data exceeds a specific reference value to a sampling means 13. The sampling means 13 once receiving the decision signal indicating that the reference value is exceeded takes history data of a specific past period out and sends the data to an identifying means 14 and a statistic information extracting means 15. A probability estimating means 16 estimates the abnormality occurrence probability and fault occurrence probability of the equipment. A risk arithmetic means 17 calculates a risk value from information from an influence information file 18 and the estimation result of the means 16 and a maintenance execution period determining means 19 determines a period wherein preventive maintenance should be carried out. Then an alarm level determining means 110 determines an alarm level corresponding to the length of the maintenance execution period and an alarm unit 2 outputs an alarm at the level.</p> |
