摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a large capacity of power in a linear motor elevator, in which the power is supplied to an elevator car and a balance weight, by using an insulated trolley wire for the power transmission to the elevator car and the balance weight. SOLUTION: Transmission of power feeder lines to a cooler, a lighting, a position display lamp, a door opening and closing motor or the like and a signal transmission to push buttons or a safety device inside of an elevator car 1 are sent to terminals 14, 16 from a control device 13 by cable lines 11a, and sent to a control box 12 of the elevator car 1 through insulated trolley wires 7 and tandem type current collectors 8 provided inside of the car 1, and power feeding and signal transmission to each equipment is performed by the control device. Power feeding and signal transmission to a linear motor 5 of a balance weight 2 is sent from a control panel 13 to terminals 15, 17 through cable lines 11b, and sent to the linear motor 5 through insulated trolley wires 9 and tandem type current collectors 10 provided in the balance weight 2. The linear motor 5 thereby generates a magnetic field, and the balance weight 2 is operated by the reaction to a secondary conductor 6.
