DRUM FOR FORMING AND ASSEMBLING PNEUMATIC TYRE CASINGS

FIELD: tyre industry; radial ply tyres. SUBSTANCE: drum has flanges and sectors mounted on drive shaft. Housing with chamber provided with support projection is mounted on at least one flange. Sectors are installed by some ends on axles in end face slots and are pressed to chamber. Ring with ring-to-flange position regulator is installed on housing. End face slots are made in ring. Free ends of sectors are provided with stops to engage with outer side surface of tyre bead. Ring position regulator is made in form of screws connecting the ring with housing, and movable stops arranged in ring to engage with housing. Ends of sectors, secured in end face slots and intended for clamping the beads by base, have thrust flats and adjusting screws for engagement with ring end face flats. Slots for sectors are made in support projections. EFFECT: improved quality of assembling casings of different type-size with different width of beads.
