FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing forest strip having one row of high-trunk trees with different flowering periods, one row of bushes and two close rows of high-stalked grassy perennial plant; making ditch in perennial plant row spacing and installing water-impermeable containers in ditch so that containers occupy 0.5-0.9 of ditch volume; using water in containers for irrigation; constructing water-fencing hill along lower edge of forest strip from ground excavated from ditch. High-trunk trees are planted at solar side to eliminate adverse action of tree shadow on sown plants. Different flowering periods of trees, bushes and grassy plants, as well as open water surface for the whole of warm period of year facilitate in providing for high ecological productivity of strip. Water absorption is increased by 20-30%, water escape is eliminated, crop yield in spacings is increased by 10 - 15%. Moreover, method allows 60-80 kg of honey and up to 50-70 kg of ecologically clean berries to be gathered from each hectare of forest strip. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved ecology control and increased productivity of crops planted adjacent to strips and of forest products. 7 cl, 2 dwg |
