Needle register is used in a curing machine, e.g. injecting brine into meat. It has a distribution chamber (16), a connection (14) supplying curing soln. and needles (18) emerging from the distribution chamber, used to inject the soln. A valve unit controls the brine supply to the needles. In the new unit, the distribution chamber (16) is formed by the interior of a tubular casing (10). At one end there is a connection for a cleaning medium. At the opposite end there is a releasable cap closure (12).
