Circuit for attenuating HF signals

The circuit has a first circuit (DT) with which, using plugs or switches, different attenuation values can be set. A second circuit (ST) is connected to the first, and has a resistance which is dependent on the attenuation value set. An evaluation circuit (6) is connected to the second circuit and, depending on the resistance of that circuit, generates a signal which corresponds on the set attenuation value. The circuit can incorporate combinations of switching transistors and resistors to set resistance values, based on the attenuation value selected.
