PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas denitration catalyst of superior denitrating performance, low SO2 oxidizing properties and superior economical efficiency, and also its preparing process and an exhaust gas denitration process using the catalyst. SOLUTION: A catalyst contains titanium, vanadium and tungsten or molybdenum and reduces and removes a nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas from ammonia. A catalyst raw material containing titanium, or containing titanium and tungusten is burned preliminarily at 600-1000 deg.C, preferably at 700-900 deg.C, and the catalyst raw material is mixed with other catalyst raw materials to form a catalyst formed body which is dried and then subjected to the burning proper at 500-600 deg.C. The peak pore radius of the catalyst should be in the range of 100-600 angstrom. |
