The filter sleeve, multi-filter sleeve or filter cartridge arrangement comprises a filter sleeve (5); a sleeve cage (4) and a nozzle fixed into a partition wall (3), e.g. cartridge plate, between a contaminated gas and purified gas side, for directing a pulse (19) of compressed air from at least one outlet (17) on the purified gas side into the sleeve, in order to make it expand temporarily and dislodge particles accumulated on the outside surface. The nozzle contains a top part (2), which captures compressed air and tapers down to a compression zone for the air, and a bottom part (1) forming a conical outlet for the compressed air, increasing in size from the neck of the air compression zone so that the bottom edge has the same diameter as the sleeve. The bottom part of the nozzle is passed through the base of the sleeve and then the top of the sleeve is sewn, riveted or clipped around the bottom part of the nozzle to form a good, tight seal and prevent the sleeve from slipping off. |
