PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-in contact which can be easily pressed-in by a jig having a simple structure. SOLUTION: The positioning portion 12 of a press-in contact 10 is composed of two plate-like pieces 13 having faces A14 to be pushed by a jig and a coupling portion 18 coupling the plate-like pieces 13 and connection portion 18. The coupling portion 18 is bent into an approximate J-shape, the center axes of the positioning portion 12 and connection portion 18 are mutually displaced. The plate-like pieces 13 are bent into C-like, and the center axes of the plate- like pieces 13 of the positioning portion 12 and the coupling portion 18 are mutually displaced. |
