发明名称 SOLID ELECTROLYTE-TYPE FUEL CELL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of reaction products between an oxidizing agent electrode and an electrolytic substance at the time of cell fabrication and improve cell properties by using an oxidizing agent consisting of double- layered lanthanum strontium manganite with a composition in a constant ratio and a composition in inconstant ratio. SOLUTION: An oxidizing agent electrode consists of two-layers: a first layer is formed from a raw material powder of La1-x Srx MnO3 in a constant ratio with 5-45μm grain size and the other layer is a thin layer 2 formed from a raw material powder of (La1-x Srx )1-y MnO3 in an inconstant ratio with the same grain size as that of the former and preferably has a thickness as thin as 50μm or thinner (wherein x=0.05-0.35; y=0.015-0.035). The layer 1 with the composition in the constant ratio and the layer 2 with the composition in the inconstant ratio are produced by mixing respective raw materials with respective binders and fired the resultant raw materials at respectively suitable temperature, and then a solid electrolyte 3, a fuel electrode 4, and interconnectors are successively formed on the layer 2 to compose a fuel cell. Since the reactivity of the layer 2 with stabilized zirconia which is to be used as the solid electrolyte is low, production of reaction products can be suppressed.
