RING TYPE MATERIAL COUNTER

An automatic classifying apparatus which recognize the labels indicated on the annular articles thereby classifying them with sizes. The apparatus has an article insertion portion(100), a fixing portion(210) which centers the annular articles of different sizes, vertical operating portion(220) operating the fixing portion(210) vertically, a driving portion(231) connected to the fixing portion(210), a rotating portion(230) for rotating the fixing portion(210), a high speed scan camera(240) fixed to the fixing portion(210) and reading a label(301) on the annular article, and a detecting portion(200) which compares an image data from the camera(240) with a recorded data so as to classify the annular article. The apparatus is utilized in factory automation.
