<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a core wire from being damaged by a method wherein a clamp arm is let to turn and then a slider is let to slide in succession and thereby a cable is held by a holding section and after that a blade is let to press-fit in and cut the braiding of the cable and then the cut braiding is pulled off from the core wire in succession. SOLUTION: A second slider 6 is slidably installed on a clamp arm 4. In like manner, a first slider 7 is so installed on a clamp receiver 2 that it may move in linkage with the second slider 6. The clamp arm 4 is turned and then the sliders 6, 7 are slided in succession by turning an operation lever 5 and thereby a cable 24 is held by holding sections 2a, 4a. Then, blades 8, 9 installed in the sliders 6, 7 are let to press-fit in and cut the braiding of the cable 24 and the cut braiding of the cable 24 is pulled off from a core wire in succession. By this method, the job can be done smoothly and there is no possibilities that the core wire is damaged.</p> |
