<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liq. developer fixable at a low temp. and excellent in fixability by adopting a combination of plural kinds of shapes selected from among spherical, fibrous and amorphous shapes as the shape of toner particles. SOLUTION: This developer contains toner particles consisting essentially of a colorant and a resin. The shape of the toner particles is a combination of at least two kinds of shapes selected from among spherical, fibrous and amorphous shapes. At least one selected from among a phthalocyanine pigment, a disazo pigment, a carmine pigment, a quinacridone pigment and carbon black is preferably used as the colorant. The colorant is preferably used after flushing treatment or kneading in the resin. The pref. melt viscosity of the toner at 120 deg.C in a dry state is 50-10,000Pa.sec, especially 100-8,000Pa.sec.</p> |
