Process for the preparation of an aqueous dispersion of composite particles comprising organic and inorganic particles

The invention relates to aqueous dispersions of composite particles, said particles comprising each a plurality of organic polymer particles of a size comprised between 20 and 40 nm and which are adsorbed on a inorganic particle. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said aqueous dispersion, said process comprising the mixing in water of inorganic particles and a latex in the absence of dispersant. Said dispersions may particularly be used for the preparation of coating compositions or in paper manufacturing.
