A method for providing movement position data of a portable terminal is disclosed. The method for providing the movement position data of the portable terminal in a radio communication system comprises the steps of: selecting a base station in a standby mode; storing an identification number of the base station and time data when the identification number of the base station is stored; registering the portable terminal at the base station; transmitting the identification number and the time data when a signal requesting the movement position data is received. Thereby, the method for providing the movement position data of the portable may easily confirm a movement path of the portable terminal. |
