PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which prevents unsatisfactory image quality such as image resolution decrease and fog, obtains a high quality image, and steadily realizes high print-quality by using, as a high-speed printing process photoreceptive drum, an arsenic triselenide photoreceptor with high surface-hardness and excellent wear-resistance, and carrying out opposite-polarity pre-electrification (negative electrification) before main electrifcation (positive electrification). SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with the photoreceptor drum 1, an electrifier 2, a scanner unit 10, a developing machine 3, and a transfer unit 4, carries out exposure on the electrified photoreceptive drum l to form an elechostatic latent image, develops the latent image with toner, and transfers the image to paper. In the image forming device, the photoreceptive drum l is provided with the photoreceptive layer made of arsenic triselenide as a base material, a pre-electrifier 13 for subjecting the photoreceptor drum 1 to the pre-electrification having the oppositie polarity to that of the electrifier 2 is provided right in front of the electrifier 2, and the photoreceptor drum 1 is subjected to the opposite-polarity pre-electrification with the pre-electrifier 13 before it is subjected to the main electrification with the electrifier 2. |
