PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a smaller size and a less weight of an orthogonal converter for converting a DC signal inputted to AC and to hinder effect of an electromagnetic noise and a thermal distortion in a vibration capacity potentiometer. SOLUTION: A vibration electrode 78 is grasped by an upper substrate 74 and a lower substrate 76 through an insulation spacer 89. A vibration part 86 is supported by a support part 88 so as to be allowed to vibrate and when a drive signal with a fixed frequency (f) is supplied to an electromagnetic coil 92, the vibration part 86 vibrates by a cyclical magnetic field according to the drive signal, so that a capacity ratio of two capacitors built with the vibration electrode 78 in common thereto varies. When an input signal is applied to the vibration electrode 78, an output signal can be picked up from between an upper electrode 80 and a lower electrode 82. A bias magnet is used or a half-wave rectification is used depending on the case. A residual magnetic material may be contained in the vibration electrode 78. |
