PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the system having a 2-way function by executing script according to a selection command received by a remote control receiver and generating and displaying an image of selected additional information. SOLUTION: A teletext broadcasting TV radio wave including a script is sent from a transmission antenna 2 of a broadcasting station 1 within a vertical blanking period. An interactive television receiver TV 3 stores a script included in a broadcasting wave and displays an additional information selection image. A viewer operates a direction command key of a TV remote controller 308 on the image to display a designation choice on a menu or the like with emphasis and when an enter key is operated, the script processing is again executed and the additional information image selected and designated is displayed. According to the interactive function using a television receiver as a medium, detailed and diversified additional information is served timely in linking with various programs such as sport relay, news and quiz.
