PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge to which a recording medium can be inserted/ detached, and allow a user recognize whether or not a disc stored in the cartridge has been taken outside in the past. SOLUTION: A cartridge 1 is provided in which a disc 2 to record signals therein is stored, and which is so constituted as to record signals to the disc 2 when loaded in a signal-recording apparatus for recording signals to the disc 2. The cartridge 1 has an opening 3 through which the disc 2 is taken outside from inside and an indicating part 4 indicating whether or not the disc 2 has been taken outside from inside the cartridge in the past.
