PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the unequal display of a screen occurring in the fluctuation in cell gaps. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has liquid crystal display elements 6 formed by disposing transparent electrodes on the respective opposite surfaces of a pair of transparent insulating substrates 11, 12, disposing color filters 1 on the one opposite surface, superposing both substrates 11, 12 on each other apart a prescribed spacing in such a manner that the respective opposite surfaces face each other, sticking both substrates 11, 12 by sealing materials 2 disposed to a frame shape to the marginal circumferences between both substrates 11, 12 and sealing liquid crystals between both substrates 11 and 12 on the inner side of the sealing materials 2. The corner parts of the color filters l formed nearly flush with each other on the inner side of the frame of the sealing materials 2 are C cut or R cut by >=0.5mm. |
