<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide operating environment same as the one for a pointing device provided with an input means such as a switch, etc., by detecting the content of a keyboard by a program when a user performs a pen operation and performing processing by the combination of a specific key on the keyboard with the pen operation. SOLUTION: A graphic file for graphic generating application is displayed by bringing a coordinate input device 9 such as a pen, etc., into contact with a screen fitting in a file item. When the pen is brought into contact with a 'call' part in such a state, an interruption signal is issued from the coordinate input device 9 to a CPU 1. A shift key is set on the keyboard as the specific key. When the pen is brought into contact with the screen as depressing the shift key, it is judged that the right switch of a mouse is depressed. When the pen is brought into contact with the screen without depressing the shift key, it is judged that the left switch of the mouse is depressed.</p> |
