<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine a main pipe, a service tee and an elbow more firmly with one another, and surely prevent gas from leaking even if the combination of the service tee with the elbow is damaged. SOLUTION: When an aseismic reinforcing cover 50 is mounted onto a joint part of a main pipe 10 with a service tee 20 and an elbow 40, semi-cylindrical parts 53 and 56 of cover bodies 51 and 52 are hermetically fixed to the main pipe 10 and the service tee 20, and an elbow 30 is slidably and hermetically pressed to semi-cylindrical parts 61 with pressure so as to be fitted therein. By this constitution, when the under ground is fluctuated to a great extent due to earthquakes and the like, since both the main pipe 10 and the service tee 20 are closely fixed by the semi-cylindrical parts 53 and 56 of the cover bodies 51 and 52, combining force is thereby intensified so as to allow the joining of the main pipe 10 with the service tee 20 to be firmly maintained, even when the main pipe comes out of the joining with the service tee 20, the elbow 30 will not come out of the aseismic cover 50, and since it is closely pressed thereto with pressure so as to be hermetically retained, gas is surely prevented from leaking.</p> |
