SOLUTION: Negative electrode plates 32 and positive electrode plates 31 on which one ends 34b of positive electrode tabs 34 are installed, are arranged in large numbers through separators 33, and are integrally formed, and a plate group 3A is formed. At this time, side surfaces of the positive electrode plates 31 on which one ends 34b of the positive electrode tabs 34 are installed, are formed as side surfaces 31a close to a focusing place J of the other ends 34a of the positive electrode tabs 34.
