PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examination machine which has a lock mechanism and also its casing covers that can easily be opened and closed. SOLUTION: A casing H which forms a main body 1 of this automatic ticket examination machine is provided with the covers 7 and 11 which can be freely opened and closed. Furthermore, the ticket examination machine has the knob windows for both covers 7 and 11, the grip covers 9 and 13 which has such shapes that cover the entire knob windows and are always energized toward the outside from the inside of the casing H at the same level as the surfaces of both covers 7 and 11, and a lock mechanism which locks up the the covers 9 and 13 against the covers 7 and 11 and also locks up the covers 7 and 11 against the casing H respectively. |
