PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal metal inspection instrument for a connector which is ideal for a waterproof connector and a highly dense connector by enabling automatic correction for incomplete insertion of a terminal metal into a terminal housing chamber of a connector during the operation. SOLUTION: This terminal metal inspection instrument comprises the body 3 of an inspection instrument provided on a block 1 free to move and a connector support base 4 where a connector B to be inspected is mounted. A terminal holding wall 11 having a terminal regulating part 12 corresponding to a terminal housing chamber 6 of the connector B is provided on the connector support base 4 and the body 3 of the inspection instrument is made to approach the connector B mounted on the connector support base 4 so that a terminal metal in the connector B conducts to an inspection pin 8. At the same time, the terminal regulating part 12 is sent to impact the terminal metal inserted incompletely with the movement of the connector B to be shifted to a completely inserted position.
