PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device using a developer carrier which excels in elasticity and does not cause any electrical trouble and separation. SOLUTION: In a single-component developing device which develops an image by bringing a developer carrier 5 carrying a single-component magnetic developer 2 in the surface thereof into press contact with a latent carrier 7 in which an electrostatic latent image is formed, the developer carrier 5 is formed by covering a semiconductive foamed material layer 9 having a plurality of magnetic poles in the outer circumference of a core shaft 8 having electric conductivity, and the semiconductive foamed material layer 9 in integrally molded into the two-layer structure of an inner layer 9a comprising a foamed material and an outer layer 9b comprising an unfoamed skin part. |
