METHOD OF SPERMATOGENESIS RETENTION AFTER SURGERY OPERATIONS ON TESTICLES

FIELD: medicine, surgery andrology. SUBSTANCE: method involves administration of lipoic acid at daily dose 25 mg/kg immediately after trauma or 3 days before operation. Method does not suppress immunity and does not exhibit cytotoxic effect; it decreases postoperative inflammation, testicular parenchyma ischemia, promotes the retention of spermatogenic cells trophics and quantitative parameters of spermatogenesis. Effect of preparation is based on its action on metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids and its interaction with many toxic substances that inactivates the latter. EFFECT: spermatogenesis retention after surgery operation on testicle and hemicastration during the first 10 days after operation.
