FIELD: computer engineering, modelling and design of specialized data storages and processing systems characterized by different topological peculiarities of computer medium, methods of representation and analysis of information. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for expansion of functional capabilities at the expense of correct partitioning of 2D space of associative storage medium by storage elements of equal forms and at the expense of setting of possible direction of recording, reading, performance of associative interrogation, formation of results of associative interrogation corresponding to partitionings of such forms into equal parts. 2D space of associative storage medium is partitioned by storage elements on the basis of one of eight basic configurations - parallelogones and possible directions of recording, reading, performance of associative interrogation, formation of results of associative interrogation correspond to partitioning of such forms into equal parts - planigones passing through their vertexes.
