PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biocellulose from inexpensive raw materials at good efficiency by inoculating a medium solution prepared by mixing a rice bran/ water mixture with a plurality of specified enzymes with Acetobacter xylinum and stationarily culturing the bacteria. SOLUTION: This biocellulose is obtained by inoculating a medium solution prepared by mixing a mixture of rice bran or/and defatted rice bran with water with α-amylase, a starch saccharifying enzyme, a fibrinolytic enzyme and a proteolytic enzyme with Acetobacter xylinum, stationarily culturing the bacteria and separating the solution from the culture. According to this production method, inexpensive rice bran and defatted rice bran can used as raw materials, and Acetobacter xylinum can be cultured easily at good efficiency with various minerals and nutrients in rice bran and defatted defatted rice bran, and therefore biocellulose can be obtained inexpensively. |
