<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a connecting tool for a fishing line designed to surely connect a connecting line to a unit to be connected by simple winding operations and a method for connecting. SOLUTION: This connecting tool for a fishing line is composed so as to be installed between a unit to be connected, e.g. a main line and a connecting line, e.g. a snell 17. An engaging unit 13 is installed in a rodlike unit 11 connected to the main line and an elastic cylinder 15 freely fitted onto the rodlike unit 11 is provided. The snell 17 is wound around and hooked on to the rodlike unit 11 close to the engaging unit 13 and both line pieces of the connecting line are passed along the engaging unit 13 to externally fit the elastic cylinder 15 onto the engaging unit 13. Thereby, the snell 17 is tightened and held with the elastic cylinder 15 and the engaging unit 13 to connect the connecting line to the unit to be connected.</p> |
