PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handling and job performance by providing a repeater frame and an optical cable frame, mounting an optical cable drum and an optical cable section to the optical cable frame and providing a rear side connection means connecting to the relay frame. SOLUTION: A repeater frame 2 uses a standard case with casters 29 and five optical repeaters 1 having a couple of amplifiers 11, 12 for incoming and outgoing lines are mounted to the frame 2. Five optical cable sections 6 contained on the optical cable drum 4 are mounted to a case with casters 29 as the optical cable frame 7. The frames 2, 7 are fixed back to back. Two optical cable drums 4 containing a prescribed length of cable are mounted onto the optical cable section 6. A relay distance L or type of the optical cable 3 is revised by replacing the drum 4. A relay distance L and type o the cable 3 are easily revised by replacing the cable section 6 and then the frame 7 is replaced to facilitate the revision of the relay distance L with respect to a full optical repeater 1 and the type of the cable 3. |
