PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a part feeder which is capable of stably feeding a taping part and a housed part independent of a change in thickness of a housing tape by a method wherein a tape presser is composed of a pressing piece and a support member. SOLUTION: A tape presser 4 is equipped with a pressing piece 11 which presses a taping part 1 against a part feed guide 2 with an extracting opening 8 and a takeout opening 9. The longitudinal halfway point of the pressing piece 11 is rotatably supported by a shaft 13 vertical to the longitudinal direction of the pressing piece 11 so as to enable the pressing piece 11 to swing vertically on both the longitudinal sides of the vertically movable part 12a of a support member 12. The support member 12 is energized by a spring 16 in a direction in which the taping part 1 is pressed by the pressing piece 11. By this setup, the longitudinal ends of the pressing piece 11 are made to bear against the taping part 1 and settled, so that all the pressing piece 11 is pressed against the taping part 1 and the housing tape 1a with no cover tape 1b as fit, and parts 6 can be smoothly and stably fed. |
