PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the accuracy of a sensor by bringing a sensor in a cassette into contact with a quality control liquid and comparing an actual control value thus obtained with a theoretical control value. SOLUTION: Upper and lower casings 1, 2 constituting a cassette are combined to form a sample channel 3 and a sensor 4 is fixed to the channel 3. A container 8 for examination liquid and quality control liquid is provided in a rotary valve 5 disposed at a receiving part 6. In the case of a dry storage sensor, examination liquid can be stored previously in the container 8. When the quality of this dry storage sensor is controlled, a cassette is connected with an analyzer into which the characteristic data of individual sensors are read in. After the sensor is exposed to the examination liquid and an examination signal is detected, the sensor is brought into contact with the quality control liquid. An actual control value is then determined for each sensor from the control signal detected through contact, examination signal and characteristic data and then compared with a theoretical control value. A decision is made whether they match each other within a required frame of measurement accuracy thus judging the accuracy. |
