<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the frequency of use of a tape by counting the number of times of repetitive recording operation or the number of times of residual repetitive recording operation of tape and then indicating the count. SOLUTION: Upon detecting insertion of a tape, an insertion signal is delivered from a tape insertion detecting means 2 to a recording/reproduction control means 1 and a count means 3 is set with an initial count (n). When an automatic repetitive recording is set and the end of tape or the start of tape is reached under recording state, the count (m) of count means 3 is incremented by 1. A counter comparing means 5 compares the count (m) of count means 3 with a limit number of times X of repetitive recording held at a comparison data section 4 and delivers a comparison result data to the recording/reproduction control means 1. When the limit number of times X of repetitive recording is smaller than the count (m), the recording/reproduction control means 1 delivers an alarm signal to a count display section 6 along with the count (m) thus notifying the replacing time of tape to a user.</p> |
