PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal transmitter in which an excellent optical output waveform is made to be obtained from a semiconductor laser in a wide range of temperature in an APC free system. SOLUTION: This device has a semiconductor laser 1, a diriving circuit 4 supplying the pulse current corresponding to the size of an input signal and bias current to the semiconductor laser 1, a pulse current control circuit 6 controlling the size of pulse current, a bias current control circuit 7 controlling the size of bias current and a duty variable circuit 3 varying the duty of the input signal. The duty of the input signal is set in the duty variable circuit 3 so that the duty of the optical output waveform from the semiconductor laser 1 may be 100% or more at the time of an initial adjustment. |
