PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device in which larger amount of necessary map information is displayed. SOLUTION: A present position is measured and is displayed on a liquid crystal display 14. The display 14 is freely rotatably installed. The rotational angle of the display 14 is detected by a sensor 15. When the display 14 is rotated for 90 degrees, the display direction is also rotated for 90 degrees. Thus, the display 14 is displayed in a longitudinal shape. When the screen of the display means is made longitudinal shape, the range between the present position mark and the top end of the screen becomes longer and a larger amount of the necessary map information is obtained. |
