The roof rack has two rails fixed to the roof running along the side edges, and a cross-bearer (4) able to be fitted front and rear. The cross-bearer is fitted to the rails by feet (5) on its ends. The feet have a support grip (6) and a clamping grip (8) which can be fitted to the rail. Each end zone of the cross-bearer, which consists of a tube sector, is moulded into a support foot with support grip, so that the cross-bearer, feet and support grips form a single structural component.
