The invention relates to a clamping mechanism (1) for connecting a hollow profile (2), provided with a latching cutout (6), to a carrier element (3) having a clamping edge extension (5), in particular for connecting hollow-profile rods to vertical supports, provided with undercut grooves as clamping edge extensions, of frameworks which can be assembled and dismantled. The clamping mechanism (1) has a housing (10, 17), which can be introduced into the hollow profile and arrests a driver (7) in the latching cutout (6) of the hollow profile (2), and a clamping spring (9) which can be transferred from an initial clamping position into an end clamping position, by a rotary movement of the driver (7), and has a clamping finger part (9.2) which engages behind the clamping edge extension (5) in the end clamping position. The clamping spring (9) and the driver (7) are arranged such that they can move in the housing (10, 17). During the clamping movement of the clamping spring (9), the clamping finger part (9.2) can move, via an abutment (23) which can be fixed in the housing (10, 17), into an expansion clamping position directed transversely to the longitudinal axis of the housing. The clamping spring (9) and/or the driver (7) have a curved driver slotted link (9.5, 20) interacting with a driver bolt (21, 9.6) which engages into the clamping spring and the driver and connects said clamping spring (9) and the driver (7) fixedly. <IMAGE> |
