An end anchorage for prestressed reinforcements comprises an outer jacket 3 retained in position either by a nut 16, as shown, or one or more integral peripheral flanges (e.g. 15, Fig. 25, not shown), and an inner conical wedge 6, the gripping surfaces of the jacket and the wedge being formed by helical coils 8 and 9. The wedge 6 has an axial grouting hole, and the anchorage may be used in pre- or post-tensioned concrete structures. |
